END TIMES (What could happen in the world tomorrow) Messiah, Jesus and Mahdi; and Armilus, Antichrist and Dajjal (2025)

Antichrist-dajjal is coming : ±2040

Amine YACOUBI

Inductive probability of the Antichrist-dajjal apparition around the year ±2040, 2024

Probabilistic thinking in Quran and Hadith The asymmetrical one-eyed Antichrist-Dajjal I-Introduction to the antichrist dajjal The Dajjal, whose full title is al-Masih al-Dajjal (the false Messiah or Antichrist), plays a key role in Muslim eschatology. He is usually identified as 'the apocalyptic opponent of Jesus', who, according to various hadiths (traditions) of the Prophet Muhammad, will appear in the last days. The Dajjal is usually envisaged as 'a malevolent creature in human form', and his arrival will follow the appearance of the Mahdi, or 'rightly-guided one'. He will claim to be the returning Messiah (Jesus), and his forces will attack the Mahdi and be on the point of defeating him when the real Jesus will descend from heaven. Working together, Jesus and the Mahdi will destroy the Dajjal and his army. Gog and Magog (Yajuj and Majuj) will be released and will attack the Muslims, but God will save them. After some time, Jesus and the Mahdi will die and the various signs of the end times will culminate in the Resurrection and the Day of Judgment. Here is a mathematical approach to adress the subject with probability theory. I could set the date around the year 2040 using inductive probability. This chapter will be part of my free book to be released in Ramadan 2024.

Portents and Features of the Mahdi's Coming

Harun Yahya Books

Adnan Oktar (Harun Yahya) The hadiths of our Prophet (saas) provide very detailed information and signs about the End Times, which will occur shortly before Doomsday. According to these reports, several highly significant events will take place one after the other during this period. In the first stage of the End Times, terrible corruption and chaos will rule; in the second stage, these will be replaced by peace and security as people come to live by true religious moral values. Our Prophet (saas) imparted glad tidings regarding the Mahdi, who will be sent during the End Times. For example, this great individual will liberate Muslims from cruelty and suffering; eliminate corruption; and usher in an era of peace, justice, plenty, happiness, and well being. According to reliable hadiths, he will return Islam, which has been distorted via superstitions and practices, to its true essence; meet with Prophet ‘Isa (as); and, by Allah’s will, will enable Islam’s moral values to prevail on Earth. These great tidings enhance all believers’ enthusiasm and excitement. Many of the prophetic hadiths and scholarly manuscripts that have come down to us have transmitted the joy and enthusiasm of those tidings and have kept the subject alive and of interest among believers. The portents that we are seeing in our own time show us that the Mahdi’s coming is close at hand. Indeed, the current climate of chaos, oppression, terror, and war, as well as the strife, famines, and earthquakes, are all portents of this great event. This small book consists of two parts: “The Portents of the Mahdi’s Coming” and “The Mahdi’s Features.” There can be no doubt that all new information learned regarding this subject will enhance the Muslims’ excitement.

The Anti-Christ and the End of Time in Christian and Muslim Eschatological Literature

Yvonne Haddad

The Muslim World, 2010

E arthquakes, floods, volcanoes, violent storms-such spectacular and terrifying displays of the power of nature seem to be in evidence with greater regularity these days. For many Christians they are signs of the disruption of the natural order predicted by the Bible to herald the arrival of the end of days. They appear at a time when by Christian standards there will also be evidence of deep ethical and moral degradation. But these eschatological expectations are not unique to Christianity. Since the early days of Islam Muslims have speculated that the coming of end-times will be announced by a combination of deep moral turpitude and devastating disruptions of the natural world. Apocalyptic Christians foresee the destruction of nominal Christians as part of the ushering in of the drama of the final days, while Muslims look to a period of deep devastation of the Muslim community as one of the signs of the end. In the return of the Jews to the Holy Land and establishment of the state of Israel, empowered by the United States, some Christians see the step essential to ensure the Second Coming of Christ. In response some contemporary Muslim writers are incorporating these same themes into their own understanding of the imminence of the end. "The US is the uni-polar power and is in control of the whole world through the United Nations and the Security Council," says Hisham Kamal 'Abd al-Hamid. "The World Zionists control the internal and external policies of the US. God's destructive power is being manifest in the US through earthquakes, disease, hunger, tornados, and repression of its population which will lead to its final destruction." 1 (Figure 1) What is the relationship of religiously and theologically based expectations to contemporary political realities? In the following pages we will take a comparative look at the scriptures, traditions and current interpretations of millenarian Christians and The Muslim World • Volume 100 •

The Globe before and after the Advent of Imam Mahdi, Part IV

Dr Shomali

Islamic sources hold a rich account of the 'End of Times'-the world's state of affairs before and after the coming of Imam Mahdi to establish worldwide justice and peace. Earlier articles in this series offered an overview from the viewpoint of the dominant world religions, as well as the Islamic perspective using the Qur'an and hadith as sources to visualise the future and increase our knowledge on the advent of Imam Mahdi with the purpose of establishing a positive relationship with him and preparing for his return. The previous part expanded on the qualities of the people of this time, including their intellectual condition, and scientific and technological advancements. This part further delves into the signs of the moral, cultural, and religious state of affairs before the advent of Imam Mahdi as well some events after the his return.

Studies in History and Jurisprudence, 2025

This paper explores the intersection of religious and social crises in the contemporary world, emphasizing the conflicts between science and religion, among religions, and within religions themselves. The paper discusses how the breakdown of trust in societal institutions creates a vacuum that gives rise to a new form of religion based on technological advancements and media influence, being symptomatic of a deeper rebellion against the Creator. After a survey of traditional Rabbinic eschatology, it compares various traditions, including the roles of the Mahdi, Messiah, Armilus and the Dajjal, suggesting that these diverse narratives are representations of the same eschatological events seen from different perspectives. It discusses how propaganda and misinformation, especially in the digital age, have become what might be termed “the mindset of the Dajjal”. The paper concludes with a reflection on the hadith about the rise of "harj"—a time of deceit and internal conflict—and how the believers with the best intentions may find themselves becoming armies of the Dajjal.

The Rise Of The Antichrist - The End Of Days Series

KAMRAN FAQIR

Matador, 2019

This study investigates the effects of philosophy, religion, politics, science and technology on the human psyche, especially concerning the youth today. This book investigates the much-debated topic of the antichrist regarding his emergence and whether he will lead humanity into darkness or to enlightenment. All mainstream religions, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, share similar perspectives regarding the antichrist and his developing systems, that have been foretold by all prophets or messengers sent to every nation over time.Although modern science and human history refer to the last 5,000 to the last 15,000 years of development, in reality, there are signs and evidence that human development is much older, with possibilities of supernatural our otherworldly intervention. For example, the story of nimrod who researched into longevity and occultist magic. With a strong possibility of alien or supernatural influence is captured on stone glyphs. Who also proclaimed himself to be a God-King. Also, throughout history, there has developed empires whose kings proclaimed to be interdimensional beings and self-proclaimed gods.

THE MESSIAH IS COMING SOON

Doug Mason

The objective of this Paper is to examine each key element of the Coming of Messiah and trace its origin and journey. When every element is seen to be sound, this could validate a belief in a Coming. It is not the purpose of this Paper to identify, formulate or describe any sequence of Last-day events. It does not propose, suggest, recommend, or critique any of the wide range of proposed models. The wide and diverse range of models bears witness to the fact that none is literally mapped out in any Scripture. By considering the sources and the journeys of each key element – such as: Messiah, Temple, and Resurrection, this Paper considers their origins and the influences on them. For many fundamentalist Christians and Muslims, belief in the imminent Coming of the Messiah impacts their daily lives and their interpretation of the world. Each believes their actions and their influences determine how soon Messiah’s cataclysmic cosmic earth-shattering Coming is able to be manifest to the world. The influences of these commitments spread into the political arenas of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The religious views of the Coming of Messiah underscore conflicts throughout history, resulting in human impacts ranging from individual suicide attacks to multi-national wars. A soon-coming Messiah is not an academic, intellectual exercise. It has real-life consequences.
